About these terms
These terms cover this website and work carried out by Ember & Oak Stoves, Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, NR33.
Prices and quotes
Prices given over the phone are based on what you describe. If the chimney turns out to need more work, you will be told the cost before anything extra is done.
Access
Please clear the area around the fireplace before the appointment and make sure the appliance has been out for at least 24 hours.
Certificates
A sweeping certificate is issued once the work is complete and confirms only the condition observed on the day of the visit.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise. Cash and bank transfer are accepted.
Cancellations
Let us know as early as you can if you need to move an appointment. There is no charge for cancelling with reasonable notice.
Photographs of our work
Photographs on this site are of installations and sweeps we have carried out. Please ask before reusing them.
Keeping the site accurate
We keep the guidance here up to date, but regulations and product specifications change. Nothing on the site replaces a survey of your own chimney.
Our content
The text, photographs and branding on this site belong to Ember & Oak Stoves.

Where we link out, for example to HETAS or government guidance, we are not responsible for the content of those sites.
